    Getting the "Hmmm..." error every time I try to redeem my gems


    I'm trying to redeem my gems for as many rewards points as possible, but every time I try to redeem them I get an error message.

    Unable to Buy 250 Gem Prize, Despite Having 314 MyVIP Gems

    Greetings,

    MyVIP rewards webpage indicates I have 314 MyVIP Gems available in my account.

    I select the "Forza Motorsport 7 Hoonigan Pack" (cost: 250 Gems) prize & enter my name, email address & gamertag.

    Every time I do this, though, I receive a "Hmmm...Try Again" error message.

    Have tried on about 5 separate days now, but always receive an error.

    Would appreciate any help!

    Error when redeeming, MyVIP Gems, but still wiped out my MyVIP Gems balance

    Tried to redeem two 10,000 Rewards Credits (500 MyVIP Gems Each), and one 5,000 Rewards Credits (250 MyVIP Gems Each).

    Gave me the ol "HMMM" error. Okay so tried again....

    Still got the errors, but it wiped out my MyVIP Gem Balance as if it redeemed it. So no GEMS and no Rewards Credits

    Did I just get scammed out of MyVIP Gems?

    Hello SnaggyKrab,

    Due to a large amount of user's claiming prizes at the same time, you may have seen this message as a result. We see you claimed two 10,000 Credits and one 5,000 Credit prize yesterday. From the FAQ:

    I claimed Rewards Credits from the vault. When will I receive them?



    If you claim Rewards Credits from the MyVIP Vault, they should appear as pending in your account within 96 hours. Once they are pending in your account, the normal deposit process kicks in. Generally if you have over 5,000 Rewards Credits pending in your
    account in the first half of any given month, that amount will be converted to your local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 30th of that same month. If the Credits show as pending in the second half of the month, that amount
    will be deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 15th of the next month.



    Please note you need at least 5,000 Rewards Credits pending to automatically trigger a deposit, though you can request a deposit for the next scheduled date as long as you have 1,000 Credits pending. Also, if you have ongoing issues with us depositing into
    your account, such as your account not matching up with your billing location, you might want to consider choosing a different prize from the vault, as we will not be able to deliver your Rewards Credits until the deposit issue is resolved.

    Thanks. They were both in my junk folder. Can't believe I didn't think to check there. Every time I try to redeem the code though I get an error message.
