Getting salvage after finishing game

Hey, last night I finished my first playthough of the game, trying to get achievments as i went, but I didnt manage to get enough to fully upgrade all weapons. now on 100% game completion I need to find 2300 or so salavge. Any tips how I go about doing this?
Ive tried looking in some of the zones I skipped though at the end but cant see any salvage Ive missed.

110 hrs in...have yet to do main quest!

Finishing the main questline does not end the game. You can keep playing and exploring after finishing the quests.

if you haven't done so yet go back to first area after Sam gets kidnapped and go back to the first tomb with the Airplane. Once there head to the right and scale one of the walls and go inside the cave till you see a metal wall then use your grenade launcher
and blow it away. There is a boat load of salvage inside. it won't get you to 2300 but you will get quite a bit. Also if you go back to where the plane crashed there is quite a bit to salvage there as well given you haven't cleaned that area out yet. Also
always look up you'll be surprised at how much salvage you can miss by not seeing the hanging crates. I am at the point of no return and I just need 348 to get the last upgrade for my bow. hope this helps good luck.

well, retribution is after me2, so regardless if you destroy or salvage the base TIM and cerberus still has access to reaper and collector tech...or i should say the canon story is you save the base and they magically find or salvage pieces of the base to
fit the overall story.

Sadly I gave up on this game after DLC 3, I imagine I will go back and finish it after the bugs are fixed (if they get fixed) and finish it off
