    Getting ready to move, would like Halo Wars: DE code before I have no Internet


    I'm moving from Fort Riley to Fort Carson in a couple days, and my Internet situation will be sketchy for a while. I know I'll probably get my code before that, but is there any way to expedite that so I'm not left without a game to play until Halo Wars
    2 officially comes out?

    No code for Halo Wars DE

    I preordered Halo Wars 2 before December 20 and I did not receive a code for Halo Wars DE.

    Pre-ordered Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition 10 days ago and still haven't received Halo Wars DE code.

    Would like an explanation on when/how to receive my Halo Wars DE code and how much longer do I have to wait to obtain one.

    We're unable to expedite code deliveries unfortunately, but codes will be delivered 7-10 days after pre-ordering. If you have waited more than 10 days and haven't received a code, please post up a new thread letting us know so we can take a look into it!

    Halo Wars DE code not received for Windows 10

    Hey there,

    Codes for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition are no longer sent out for purchases of Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition. Now, anyone that purchases Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition digitally will automatically receive the game digitally. Try checking your Windows Store
    library (or your 'Ready to install' list on Xbox One) to see if the game shows up there! Be sure that you are signed into the account that originally redeemed the code, as well.

    To find your library on the Windows Store, click your profile picture in the upper left corner of the screen within the Windows Store. Keep us posted!
    I can see Halo Wars DE in my Windows Store library, however trying to install it gives an error once it tries to acquire a license (error code is 0x803F8001). I have already had a lengthy chat session with support over that error, and they said the error
    was due to my not having a license for Halo Wars DE, and that I had to come here to get the code for Halo Wars DE sent to me.

    once i preordered it on my xbox it installed halo wars de but it was only like 100MB once i got the code it started to install a game called "halo" and whenever it gets to 98% it say error and gives me a error code i typed the code in on the forums and it
    said it did not exist. does anybody have anyway to fix this

    Did you preorder a physical copy of Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition or digital copy? If it's a physical copy, your code for the Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be in the box for Halo Wars 2. If you preordered a digital copy, you'll get a code for the Halo
    Wars DE copy to your Xbox Live message center 7-10 days after redeeming your code.

    Still No Definitive Edition Code

    halo wars 2 ultimate edition includes Halo wars DE. You should be able to find and download the game under ready to install on my games and apps on your xbox one!

    On PC check the Halo app or the Download and install page on the store!
    It says I already own the game but I get stuck in an endless cycle of "You already own this game" to "Available only as part of a bundle./Not sold seperately"

    On my Xbox there is no option for Halo Wars Definitive Edition in the ready to install list.

    On PC in the Halo app, the definitive edition is listed as "Buy Now".

    I've double checked my order history and to make sure I got the Ultimate Edition and I did get to play Halo Wars 2 a few days early with that bundle.
