Getting password loop when trying to add my new Xbox account onto my console

Go to https://account.microsoft.com>;; Security> Change my password.

Kindly try to sign in after changing your password.

If incase it won't work, please turn on your two-step verification by going to https://account.microsoft.com>;; Security> two-step verification> Turn on.

When it is fully on, please test it out and sign in to the Xbox.

If it will still not work, kindly turn off your Xbox. Unplug all the cables connected to it. Leave it at rest for 2 minutes. Plug in all the cables back and then turn on your Xbox.

Let us turn off your two-step verification first before signing in.

Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com>;; Security> two-step verification> Turn Off.

Once done, kindly try to sign in to your account.

Im having the same problem. I'm trying to add accounts to my new xbox one x and when I successfully type in my email and password, my screen goes blank.

When you said the message you get with your email address says "already in use" are you trying to create a new account? If so, you already have an existing account with that email address.

Sign into the console with that account you know the password to as seen here:

And the problem should be solved.

Your brother will need to download his profile onto the new console and perform a license transfer onto the new console. When he purchased the content, it was licensed to his account and to the console that he made the purchases from. Transferring the licenses
to the new console will allow any user on that console access to the content.

I had recently just created an account and joined xbox live since switching from my ps3 to xbox. When I try downloading my profile onto the console Im getting the same error message. My email asdress and password work fine. I have no blocks on my account.
My profile will start to download but about halfway through downloading I am getting the error message. any help?
