    Getting party invites from someone else's account


    My bf and I share two Xboxes but when I'm playing I get party invites from his friends and they see him as online doing whatever I am doing. I can't sign him out as we share game pass ultimate so I can't play the games unless he is signed in. But I don't like his friends spam inviting me thinking it's him. How to fix?

    Kindly ask him to follow the steps below on your console. We just need to make sure that it is set up correctly.

    1. Sign in to your account.

    2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

    4. Check "Make this as My Home Xbox".

    After that, ask him to sign out and then try again.

    Hi Red, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    I apologize as you may need to sign out of his account or you can ask him to set his status to "Offline".

    Also, if you're game-sharing with him, setting his account as Home Xbox will be enough, his account is not required to be signed in. You can definitely ask him if it will be possible for him to set his console offline or set his account as Home Xbox on your console.

    The party and game invite system sucks. You basically have to let the party do it for you. Which is lame. Party chat sucks also. If you're not playing the same game as someone else, party chat gets weird. It'll keep saying "Cannot connect to party chat".

    Yes mate you are getting an invite from someone using the beta party chat. I got exactly the same problem because I didn't get an invite for the beta. Stock party chat and beta are incompae! Stupid I know
