Getting my xbox to connect to the console companion app.

My xbox is on the same internet connection as my phone and my pc but it cannot connect to the xbox app on either devices. Its even on the same subnetwork but it doesn't come up, what do I do to get it seen on those apps? I do have it set up to be visible
to all devices as well so I know I don't need to change that setting.

I did and it still doesn't work even tho its checked off to allow connections

Hi Micah,

There's a couple of things you've already stated, but i'll just cover again for incase.

I suggest you have your PC and Xbox on the exact same network connection, with the same IP range and subnet range.

You need to enable game streaming on the console. under Settings > preferences > connectivity and enable game streaming.

do you have any other Xbox's in your home/on that network?

Are you signed in on the same account on the Xbox and PC/mobile device in the app?

No I do not and yes I'm signed into the same xbox profile on the apps
