Getting my minecraft account back

So I made a post about this a couple weeks ago

"So I have a Gmail address that I used to create a microsoft account and I had my Minecraft account on. At some point microsoft has decided to merge this account with my other microsoft account that also has a Minecraft account on it that I never use, because of this I can't go on Minecraft with the Minecraft account I actually use and have stuff bought on. when I try and login to my Gmail microsoft account it says it doesn't exist and then says I should get a new one. when I press the "get a new one" button it takes me to a page that says "mrsm******@gmail.com is associated with the following username(s):

Er*****@outlook.com

We've hidden part of the username(s) for security reasons."

how do I unmerge them and get back my Minecraft account?"

basically I explained that my microsoft accounts had be merged which resulted in me not being able to access my minecraft account, on that post I was told to contact mojang so they could fix it, I contacted mojang and asked for help and they replied with this:

"Greetings! I'm very sorry that they did not help you as you had hoped. ��️ But I'm afraid that as previously mentioned, we do not have access to make any changes to your account, as it is Microsoft. In this case, we suggest you continue to insist with their support. For our part, if there was an alternative we could offer you, we would do so without hesitation. However, I'm afraid that in this case, there is none possible. We are very sorry that we are unable to support you with this problem. Minecraft Support, Kvothe E."

Then I tried fixing the problem myself by making a new account with the mrsmashy321@gmail.com email to try and unmerge them myself but when I go on the minecraft launcher with this email that should be connected to my minecraft account it says I don't have minecraft, I went back to mojang's support and told them this:

"In one of the screenshots I sent where I try and login to my microsoft account with the email "mrsmashy321@gmail.com" it says its associated with "erocrush@outlook.com" but there's an option to create an account anyway using "mrsmashy321@gmail.com" I clicked this option and made an account using my email which should be linked to my minecraft account "" but on the minecraft launcher when I login it says I don't have minecraft, is it possible for you to tell me what email the account "" is linked to? I have all the other account info incase the username alone isn't enough to find out, just interested to see what the minecraft account says the email its linked to is, since the one that should be linked is now a new account and says it doesn't have minecraft. If my minecraft account "" doesn't have an email linked to it is it possible for you to link the email address "mrsmashy321@gmail.com" to it? This shouldn't be a problem to take up with microsoft since the only part related to microsoft is the email addresses, and I've already asked them and given all the info and they said they can't help and said to come to you."

They replied back and said there's nothing they can do about it and to come to microsoft to fix it, is there anyway I can fix this and get my minecraft account back? I've spent hundreds of dollars on this account and it would really suck if its just lost forever all because microsoft decided to merge my accounts without my permission.

As you don't remember the email address (and if it's a Microsoft account), you may need to proceed with the account recovery form:

Here in the public forums no one can assist you with this process / tell your the specific email / modify or share account details due to privacy and security policies

If you are not able to recover your account through that form, in this case you should contact Xbox Customer Service and request an ATO (Account Takeover), this is because this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and procedures that Xbox Support has.

Lastly, is this two-account merge because the security information of the Microsoft account is the other email? Microsoft account security info & verification codes - Microsoft Support

Security information - alternate contact email address or phone number is relevant in recovering the account, without security information you will have slim chance of recovering the account.

So basically the microsoft account that should have my minecraft account on it is m***PII REMOVED***@gmail.com, but when i go to the minercaft launcher to login it says this email is associated with one of my other microsoft accounts e***PII REMOVED***@outlook.com, and then it tells me to login to the e***PII REMOVED***@outlook.com email, I believe they've merged because I haven't purchased minecraft on the e***PII REMOVED***@outlook.com account but when I go on the minecraft site and login with that email it says I own minecraft and the account is called "***PII REMOVED***" my minecraft account that's connected to m***PII REMOVED***@gmail.com should be called "***PII REMOVED***" 1 "V" instead of 2.

I tried looking for a way to unmerge them myself but I couldn't find away, when i try and login to the m***PII REMOVED***@gmail.com account it says I can create a new account using this email even though it's associated with e***PII REMOVED***@outlook.com, i decided to try this because I though if my minecraft account is connected to the email m***PII REMOVED***@gmail.com then if create a new account using that email then since it's still connected to that email it'll work, it didn't though and I still can't access my minecraft account, I reached out to minecraft support and they keep telling me to come here.

Please correct me with the details you have shared to us and provide us details about what we missed.

Basically, Mojang account is what you mentioned Minecraft account or the credentials to use in playing Minecraft, is not a Microsoft account unless it was registered to Microsoft, or the email domain is from Microsoft. Mojang account then was announced to make it more secure and accessible in verification by migrating its data to a Microsoft account. Now. let us focus on where your Mojang account should have been.

We notice you mentioned 3 different emails in your last reply, we remove the whole username to protect your privacy. Please do not provide it however if you would like to make a statement out of one account you may try this:

e***@gmail.com

e***@outlook.com

Minecraft username and Microsoft gamertag are not the same too. Minecraft username is unique to all Java edition players however, Microsoft gamertag is present to all Xbox games.

Now the question here is if you have purchased the game on this account - e***@outlook.com then you must see the license on the Minecraft site. To check or migrate the account, you will need to sign into this link: Log in | Minecraft and look at the screenshot below and fill out the blue rectangle for signing into Mojang account. Otherwise, if you believe this e***@outlook.com is already a Microsoft account when you make the purchase, go back to this link: Log in | Minecraft and to check the screenshot and select the green button Sign in with Microsoft. Sign into Microsoft account.

If you cannot find or locate the right account from which you have purchased the Microsoft license you may want to check each account's order history however, order history is only accessible to accounts that has no log in issues.
