Xbox doesn't repair this devices, those are replaced every time you request a service, so this is probably why standard controllers don't get an out of warranty replacement option,

I tried all the reset options sent my xbox series x out for repair through my extended warrenty through Allstate, both times it came back saying a full audit was performed and your device passed all diagnostic tests. The repair depot could not duplicate the issue you reported. The technical specialist also ran a functionality check on every major hardware component on your unit to confirm the item is fully functional but still have the same issue as you. Microsoft support hardware teamwanted me to send into them for a fee of $299.00 which i cant afford because im on low income. There is alot of times i cant even log into my main profile.
