    Getting kicked from session


    We have multiple players w multiple isp to avoid lag. profiles. My gamepass acct is linked to a Samsung tv and my son is on our xbox1. Attempts to load his profile on the console using gamepass says 3mins but takes 15mins to queue gamers ahead and then a frozen black screen shows w no game loaded. We haven't had a successful session all week dealing with this problem. Other requests for help have been sent w no response. He is getting kicked immediately after loading last Sunday.

    Ty for your response. My Nintendo wii, switch, and work laptop are on the same at&t network w no issues. Only the Xbox gamepass is malfunctioning. I use a profile on a separate Samsung TV gamepass app using Google fiber. My son is using a different TV w our Xbox console using at&t fiber which is better quality. Is it his restriction settings or his gamepass account?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    I have here steps that we can try, please perform an extended powercycle and reset the network hardware by following the steps below:

    " 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

    If it helps. I usually can have an invite only session with any number of people. But I can't seem to be on a public session. And I don't just get kicked from the session. I get disconnected altogether.
