getting kicked from party while playing a a game

ok long story short me and a buddy are playing world of warships legends we are in a division and in a party but while we are playing a match we both are dropped from the party, we both checked our nat type its open we both have strong online connections but it only happens with world of warships while ever other game is fine. So question is this just us on warships or is it more people?

Also is it war gamming having issues?

or is Microsoft having issues with party's?

Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Thank you so much for checking all that. Based on what you have said it is more of a game issue but we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below and then try to play the game again and join the party with a friend.

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

This happened to me too, then it stopped. It gets quite annoying. You get kicked from the game and they stay in the game, I was playing GTA V and I get kicked from the party and game though I host it and then they play it.

any solution to this? i have the same modem and constantly get kicked out of parties and chats and booted from xbox live while trying to play COD Ghosts. very annoying.

And getting kicked from the party/privates does happen in-game. But only if I'm not playing multiplayer, if I sit in an empty lobby before starting up the joining process I still get kicked. But if I am in a multiplayer lobby or playing a multiplayer game
I never get kicked at all.
