Getting Games On New Xbox One

My brothers and I used to use a Xbox One. For my birthday I got my own Xbox One S. Im trying to put my old digital games on my Xbox One S but they don't show up even after I make my account my home xbox.

I hope not Im getting a new xbox just one an a half months after selling my day one, getting it on tuesday with a new Bf4 game all my other games were DLC thank god, I couldnt last 2 months without my xbox LOL.

I'm having a similar issue. Xbox one S crashed so we purchased a new/refurbished Xbox one S. I made the new console my "Home console" and it still does not show the games that I have previously purchased or redeemed under my account. I'm using the same
account that I used on the previous console. Using a PC, I signed on to the Xbox website and it showed that the new console is considered the "home console". I also removed the old console from my profile.

I still cannot see the previously purchased (or redeemed) games on my new console. I refuse to pay for the same games twice. Digital content should be transferable from one console to another. If I had the disc I'd simply install it again.

Any ideas?

More than likely your brother might have them under his profile. If that is the case you will have to set up his account as your home Xbox so you will be able to share them over to you. If you have games that he doesn't have, then you would make your profile
the home Xbox on his Xbox. Then you guys can share all your games together. If you don't know which licenses you have. visit

When I purchased our third Xbox One S the previous game purchases did not show up right away, but they did all show up within a couple of days.

What I did before they finally loaded was to go through the purchase histories for all four of our accounts and follow the links to the games we wanted to reinstall. It was tedious, but I was able to find everything okay.

We now copy all of our games to external hard drives, so we have backups of our 300+ games.

That actually sounds like a markedly different issue from what the OP was experiencing back in June. And because this is a three-month old thread, I will lock it. However, you should certainly make a new thread detailing your issue so you can get the help
you need, although I would suggest that speaking with Phone/Chat Support
here could probably get you pointed in the right direction quicker.
