Getting error code 0xc1010107 (0xc00d36c3) from Media Player, can't play video files

This is still a problem. No other info was provided and error code look up yields no result.

I read someone suggested converting the files using a different audio codec. I'm sorry, reconverting thousands of video files is out of the question. These files work everywhere else (Win7, Win8, XP, Mac, iOS, even on the 360), just not on the Xbox One.

Fix the problem please.

Media Player will not play music from my PC

I can search through all of my music and different artists, but when I go to play a song it will not work.

Error code 0xc1010107 (0xc00d36c3)

Media Player and MPEG4

I setup a DLNA server on my Synology DS413 NAS. The Xbox One sees the server and the content that I put out there (MPEG 4 format) and was playing them. Then all of a sudden it stopped playing the files and gave me the following error code: 0xc1010107
(0xc00d36c3). The error message said to Try Again Later. I've restarted the media server, reindexed it, restarted the Xbox One, but the videos simply won't play anymore. This has all happened within the hour of initial setup. I don't understand how it
can play a video one minute but won't play that same video the next minute. Thoughts or ideas?

STILL an issue, intermittent and really annoying. Xbox One Gets through 1-2 songs and then errors with the above code: 0xc1010107 (0xc00d36c3) Please sort this out!!!!!!!

 

This issue is a NTFS permissions issue. You need to ensure WMPNetworkSvc has read permissions to the file on your computer and it's shared through Windows Media Player.
