Getting error code 0xc0ea0001 when trying to launch Starfield on my laptop (Acer Nitro 5)....

this headset was not a problem with xbox or acer nitro 5. the issue happene with my new laptop

The error code 0xc0ea0001 usually indicates an issue with the Xbox app or the game itself. Since you have already updated Windows, the Xbox app, and the game, and repaired the game through the Xbox app, the issue may be related to the app's cache or the game's installation. Or else, this can mean that there’s a potential service outage or an issue with the license manager on your device.



Check the Xbox status page.

• If you see any services with alerts, expand the service, scroll down to Notifications, and sign in to receive a message when the service is up and running again. Link: Xbox status page
  

Run a command prompt for licensing.

1. Press the Windows logo key to open the Start menu, and then enter “cmd” in the search bar.
   
2. Right-click Command Prompt, and then select Run as administrator.
   
3. Enter the following command line in Command Prompt: sc.exe stop licensemanager
   
4. Press the Enter key to run the command.
   
5. The command prompt will output some text to indicate if the command was processed successfully. Once Command Prompt completes the task, try launching the game again.
   

If you're still receiving the error code when you try to launch your game, try restarting your Windows device. To do so, press the Windows logo key, and then select the Power icon > Restart. Once your device has booted back up, try launching the game again.

Thank you very much for the reply, I checked Xbox services, and everything is up and running. So, I ran the command prompt you suggested "sc.exe stop licensemanager" and that seems to have fixed the problem. The game launched from the Xbox app and from the desktop shortcut normally without having to restart my computer to get it to work. I do have a few questions. Will I need to enter this command prompt every time I turn my computer off and on to play starfield or was that command a permanent fix for the issue with the license manager? Can you explain what causes this issue and what does the License Manager do/what is its purpose? Does the command "sc.exe stop licensemanager" affect anything else other than starfield that I should be concerned about.

I really appreciate any additional information and I also want to thank you for the fast response and the detailed walkthrough to get this annoying problem fixed.

Oh yeag sorry forgot about that its an radeon rx560x series gpu i playing on nitro 5 acer laptop.
