Getting error code: 0x800704C7 when trying to launch games from Game Pass on PC.

As the title says, I am unable to play any games I have downloaded from Game Pass through the Xbox app on my PC. Every time I click play, the game fails to launch and the Xbox app gives me an error code of "0x800704C7".

Solutions I have tried so far that did not work are:

Signing out of both Xbox app and Microsoft store and restarting my machine.

Checking for new update for both my PC and the xbox gaming related apps from the Microsoft store.

Using 'Run' Command to start 'WSReset.exe'

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app.

Going to Windows setting > apps > search for gaming services app > advanced options > clicking repair and reset

Thank you in advance for any help given, I've tried searching all over and have so far not found any solutions to this problem.

When was the last time you're able to launch the game?
Can you still sign into account.microsoft.com website?

Error code 0x800704C7 usually indicates a problem with the Windows Store cache. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

You can also try the following steps:

1. Press the Windows key + X and select "Windows PowerShell (Admin)".

2. Type the following command and press Enter: Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

3. Wait for the command to complete and then restart your PC.

4. Try launching the game again.

I have the same problem. Each time I launch the game I get the 0x87DD0005 error code (on PC Game Pass). All other games launch just fine.

Are you getting a specific error code when launching any of the games? Also, try to check if your PC has pending system updates.
