Getting Error 0x803F8001 trying to launch a game

When I try to launch Kingsway I get this error, Ive tried re installing it and I read that it could be because it was removed from Gamepass, but it still says its available when I go to the store. Anyone have any idea? it worked fine last week.

Okay, are you playing on Xbox or PC?

This is because the Kingsway game from the Microsoft store only says its available on PC; https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/kingsway/9pp2h41h50s5?activetab=pivot:overviewtab.
It also doesnt say that it is on Game Pass anymore but it does say so on the Game Pass list; https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-game-pass/games

Yea im on PC, im guessing someone messed up and disabled the game but didnt take it off the list when it was supposed to be removed.

That would make sense, but I just uninstalled it and checked the store to see if it was still there and it still says available on Gamepass and says I can install it.

Hey

Did you purchase the game after it was removed from the Xbox GamePass? This is because once a game is removed from GamePass, you have to purchase it to play it again.

If it says its "Available" it might be because you have it installed on your console but because you have not purchased it you can not play it.

If you wish to play it, Can you delete the game off your console and then purchase it and re-download it.

There was as emerging issue for the Forza 4 which when you try to launch the game, you will get an error : 0x803F8001 or 0x82D40003 . You can try again after a couple of hours.
