Getting error 0x80070057 whilst trying to download avengers on series x

I’m getting the same issue but instead of it only happening to marvel avengers, I can’t install any other games now. Even disgusts ones I own

Thank you for letting me know. If that's the case, please try to reset your console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Hi GF20, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, kindly unplug the external hard drive and then perform a power cycle on your console before trying to reinstall the game. Please keep the hard drive unplugged.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Quite a few people reporting the same issue - including myself. It's definitely an issue with the service.

I don't think any amount of resetting your console will work with this one, not even a factory reset is solving the issue. People are saying that it's an issue with the game itself :/
