    Getting constant "Can't Download" when trying to download games.


    Try this when your download stops clear system cach three times restart download before it stops unplug power from xbox ..plug back in and your download should start were it left off

    I am tired of these downloads problems. They started around March. Tried dozens of times to download GOW Judgment/Bioshock infinite/Tomb Raider/Assassins Creed IV/Army of Two/and so on. Eventually GOW and Army of Two succeed after days of tries and fails.
    Same story with Mafia II. I see there are lot of other users having the same problems. And the only support I see are these repetitive answers by ngocphi who seems the typical call center human bot who thinks that users are noobs. I give up with downloads
    and gold account, I am *** tired of this ridiculousness.

    @flyong if you are backgrounding your downloads thrn you must keep the download screen active

    You can walk away from tthe tv if you have ro but you cant browse rhe xbox while you wait as that pits you in background downloading

    If you are not using your actual region that would be why

    You can't leave the active download screen on your tv u will screen burn it

    You don't have to.

    You can turn off the tv or change the channel. The TV doesn't have to be on.

    This new app is much worse than the last one. There are constant issues with streaming and you can't even download the game now to try and avoid the streaming issues. When is there going to be an update to sort it out?

    To help others that may also be having this problem it seems that if you leave the 360 alone on the active downloads screen and don't touch it it will download fine. This has worked three times for me so far on Assassin's Creed 2, SSX and Saint's Row 3.

    And just for testing purposes while Saint's Row was downloading on my 360 I tried 1- Surfing the web, 2- Playing online MKX on my XB1, and 3 downloading large game updates on my PS4. None of those things caused the 360 download to stop. I honestly do not
    think this is a bandwidth problem.

    Dlcs are rarely big so speed wont be a factor for those but full games for gold rather then arcade titles tend to be large and require more speed
