Getting back a Minecraft account

I had an account that was recently hacked. The support said they had no choice but to delete the Microsoft account. I assumed it would delete the Minecraft account as well, but am unable to use my previous IGN. Does anyone know if its possible to get that account back/transferred or will it be stuck in limbo forever?

Hi, yes. its not possible to get the account back.

You can try your luck with Mojang support, but I don't think that they're able to transfer a Minecraft profile to a different account

Sorry to say but any kind of content transfer between Microsoft accounts can’t be made :c

Does this mean I will be unable to get back that Minecraft account? Its currently not bound to any Microsoft account at all since it was deleted. I believe I even have the old gift card that was used to purchase it.

As you don't remember the email address (and if it's a Microsoft account), you may need to proceed with the account recovery form:

Also, you could try alternative methods to recover your account here:

Here in the public forums no one can assist you with this process / tell your the specific email / modify or share account details due to privacy and security policies
