    Getting an Error code: (0x80070102) when trying to launch Halo Infinite.


    Having the same issue after upgrading to Windows 11.

    I've also tried reinstalling a fresh copy of Windows 11 recently but still getting the issue despite all drivers and software being up to date.

    I'm subscribed to Windows Game Pass and when I boot the same PC into my old Windows 10 image(on an old hard drive) Halo Infinite loads without any problems.

    No other gamepass games appears to be affected.

    Windows 11

    Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.1335)

    Dell Precision Workstation

    Dual Socket Intel x5690 CPUs

    48GB ECCR RAM

    RTX2080

    1TB M2 SSD + 18TB additional storage

    Please help as I'm tearing my hair out.

    Hello Sennetor, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2.

    Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

    Thank you Georges, I've reviewed this thread and some of the suggested fixes have already been tried without success(including a clean installation) Do you have any ability to escalate to the xbox engineering team as the same thread seems to suggest this is a possible code bug?
