get rid of the stupid numbers on a unique name

All new gamertags have numbers, It's not something that can be changed

I understand you need help on your gamertag.

Just a heads up, the numbers after your gamertag is actually a suffix that would help identify gamers most especially if they have the same gamertag.

This has been designed so that everyone can still use the same gamertag but in order for them to be identified differently, you will be provided numbers after it which is called as suffix.

You cannot change the suffix of your gamertag most especially if you will be using a gamertag that already is being used by another. If you do not want to have numbers after it, I would suggest using a gamertag that has not been used yet by other gamers.

Their are gamertags that are still registered from the system but are not searcheable anymore due to it being inactive. If the system still recognizes that tag, it will always provide you a suffix after it. If you want to have a gamertag without suffix, you can change it again and just make sure to double check before confirming if the system will provide suffix or not to know that this has not been used by anyone yet. But suffix is really not that bad since it will show up smaller in game, like being separated from the original tag.

That doesn't work, you don't get the name it just puts a bunch of numbers after it and you get the name with numbers with it only, as for unique names that are 15 letters it ruins the names so you cannot use it.
