    Please please help! I am getting the teredo NAT error and have tried everything including changing ports etc. My set up has not changed and I have always had open NAT and this has happened randomly out of the blue. As always I have connected the console directly to the virgin hub4 router. Don’t know what to do next, tried hotspot connection with phone and it still displays the error. Also tried wiping the console and starting again, I have a feeling it’s an console glitch not the router as nothing has changed with other connections I have. Somebody please help.

    Further to what Yineca replied, if you are in an Insider preview, check Xbox Settings > Network > Advanced settings to see if you have both IP4 and IP6 addresses.

    I have a NAT and Teredo error showing on the front page of Network settings but have the correct listing under Advanced settings and connect to Xbox Network without issue.

    I'm in Alpha Skip Ahead preview and this issue is being addressed by the team involved, according to the latest release notes.

    Are you in the insider program? If you are that’s the issue it isn’t your network the latest insider update broke nat types, I reported it as a problem and hoping it’s fixed in the next update

    I would humbly suggest in your home network to give your Xbox priority. Depending on your networks traffic and bandwidth and count of connected devices and password protection on both the LAN and WAN also. Your ISP can guide you through the processes and you would choose your own passwords. Is someone piggy backing your network? Do you have more than a modem like a secondary router? Have they been set up correctly? Most ISP provided Modems can have issues with other name brand routers. A router you purchase comes with it's own directions built in or on a disk. ISP modems/routers are proprietary in nature, meaning you do need the ISP tech support for it. Calling the manufacture of your ISP provided modem is fruitless as they will tell you they are bound by an agreement with your ISP and to call them.

    Rusty, the teredo error means your devices are misconfigured.

    I understand that you already made the configuration. But something was probably missing, because the app is saying that it hasn't been configured yet.

    So you just need to configure your internet devices now.

    They are unconfigured, so have access restrictions, causing these errors.

    If you do not have knowledge, I advise you to contact the ISP that they will do for you

    set a fixed ip for the console/PC, open the ports described below, disable and enable the UPnP function and disable the modem firewall, if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

    Put console/PC IP in DMZ zone.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    You can ask ISP(Internet Service Provider) for help
