    Get rid of suffix/numbers at the end of my username


    Okay so I have Account 1, which had the name . I then had Account 2, which has the name #809. I want the username for Account 2, because I have all my games on there, so I changed my Account 1's name to MrDanqinator, but I still have #809 as the username for Account 2, so I tried to change it to , and this happens.

    Okay, so I found the fix. I changed the username for Account 2 to something random then changed it to , although I had to pay an extra 10 dollars, it was worth it. I hope this helps anyone who is in the same situation as me.

    Basically it was because of MrDankinator#809

    On account 2

    Had it been any other name it would not have shown up as taken hence the second hashtag

    This is why we tell people to change to something different before the rename

    That's a strange one....if I search for the username you want, then it shows without a suffix of numbers. Yet, if I search for usernames I know are in use, then it always adds a suffix
