Get Microsoft Sol Splash Screen, then back to desktop

It has been having some problems loading lately, suddenly would only get Splash screen for a minute, then back to my desktop screen - Win / tab brings it up again, after a minute back to desktop. Removed, re-installed - won't start at all. Pop-up says
go to Store, see if they can fix it - after 5 minutes of the moving dots on top, gave up

Unable to Play

I played it for a few hours right after downloading. Restarted my PC to install updates, and now it won't open. The splash screen comes up, it acts like it's loading, then I get dumped back on the desktop. Any help appreciated!

 

So Disappointed with BF3, savegame keeps getting corrupted.

if you quit to desktop while the multiplayer or single player is saving content (it does it all the time even at the splash screen) then you'll corrupt the save file. Just make sure it doest say "saving" or have the save icon showing. After quitting a multiplayer
game quit right back to the main menu before quiting back to desktop

 

This is actually related to a Windows Update and not our game. The update is apparently getting "stuck" for some users and causing apps to run poorly or not at all.

To "unstick" it, please do the following.

1. Press Windows Key

2. Type Check for Updates and click on Settings below the search bar

3. Click on it

4. Install any updates that are waiting

5. Reboot

6. When you're done rebooting, uninstall Solitaire (to do this, right click on the icon and choose Uninstall from the bottom menu)

7. Press Windows Key + R

8. Type in wsreset.exe and Enter

9. This will launch the Windows Store. Reinstall Solitaire

Doing the uninstall/reinstall will just ensure that you have the latest copy of the game. This should fix your problem!
