my get games with gold slot on my home screen is gone. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how did you fix it

Can't get games with gold

I have been purchasing xbox live for a while now and I can't, some reason, download any games that come free or any discounts that can be bought or downloaded with xbox live gold, I click on the game and it gives me the option of "Get Gold" but I've already
purchased it.

When sharing your Gold subscription, what are the specific gold benefits you get?

When you share gold the accounts that are sharing the gold get access to online multiplayer. Only the account that purchases the gold gets access to things like gold discounts or games with gold games. However, the games with gold games can be shared once
downloaded.

Not sure how to fix it, but you can go the store and just below the top area is "memberships" which can get you to the current Games with Gold.

You could try hard resetting the xbox by holding down the power button for 7-10 seconds, but that is just a guess.

You must be a gold member in order to get the games yes but you must download the games during the period they are free for gold. If they are no longer free for gold anymore then you missed the opportunity to get that game during the free with gold deal.

You don't need Gold to use apps like Netflix or Youtube. Gold is only required to play online, get free games through Games with Gold, and access to Gold discounts. You can also just get Gold or Game Pass for free through Microsoft Rewards.

You can not get games on the Games with Gold using a trial membership. You must have a full Gold Membership to get the free games.
