    Get access to deceased husband's movies


    My husband and I bought over 1000 movies on his account. I can no longer watch them I am seeking help to watch these movies. I have tried online on our Xbox but his old email and phone number are expired. I paid for many on his account. I need help to open his games and movies on xbox. I have his death certificate I am his widow.

    Hello Lauren, sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing the movies.

    This one is going to be a tough one as Microsoft do not give access to accounts to those that do not own them. However, what I would like to you to do is log in to https://support.xbox.com/contact-us with your account and start a chat. Although there is no guarantee, when you get to a fellow Xbox gamer ask to be escalated to a Microsoft Advocate as only they would be able to give you a definitive answer on the account itself.

    My condolences for your husband and I wish you the best of luck to get this resolved.

    Well it happened :

    There are some posters who always remind me of my (deceased) husband. He would develop strange problems with his computer and ask me what was wrong. Our son and I would look at it, scratch our heads and say "Darned if we know, that's never happened to us"
    (we each had our own computer, it saved having "issues"). Some people seem to attract problems.
