German version of XBox 360 game Family Guy

If you want to be more sure about the language, look for a disc distributed to the Americas.

That way it is more certain that the game will be downloaded in that language.

It is worth remembering that your platform needs to be configured for this region as well.

thanks for your research.
However, I don't know how different the disc and the online versions are. I'm rather new to the console world (at least those that connect to the internet) and find it confusing how these things work by now. I'm also more of a disc guy and prefer to have a physical copy. I will not spend money on a game and then get the "You can play this only on one console" note.

As for different language versions, I guess it depends on the distributor. The "Broken Sword" series e. g. is always available in different languages.
Today I tried the disc version of "Diablo 3" on XBox One and couldn't change from German to English although the console downloaded about 40 GB of data (you should think this would be enough to include two voice options).

So I guess I'll have to head over to a fan community in German and find s.o. who has the respective game.

But follow official game description "The Games on Demand version supports English, Italian, German, Spanish."

The original Gears of War for xbox 360 is still not buyable in the german xbox live store or as boxed versions at local dealers. Neither on xbox 360 nor on xbox one or on xbox.com webstore. But the game is downloadable on xbox one if i insert the disk version
on xbox one.

Not shure if the codes generally not redeemable in germany or the code I received is corrupt.

The original xbox 360 Version was never officially released because of the refused rating. The pegi version was set on index by BPjM, a german governmental agency for youth protection, because of depiction of violence within the game. This summer this indexing
was cancelled. The Ultimate Edition got a rating by German USK and is released in Germany on Xbox one and Windows 10, but not on Xbox 360.

Maybe I should ask german Microsoft support directly.

Resident Evil 4 HD 360 game german version has Separate Ways included, but Assignment Ada and Mercenaries unfortunately are not included.
