I think it will work with no problems, i bought some games in Germany and UK and play them in Spain and there's no problem.

The disc would work fine, as for the codes that come with it, there is no way of knowing until you try to redeem them.

Are buying a digital copy as a gift to someone else another region other than yours? Or do you own the game and playing on a different console in another region?

Yes. There is no playback restriction on games purchased and downloaded.

For example, if you purchase and download a game in one country and then move to another country where the game isn’t available, you can still play the game that you downloaded. However, you would not be able
to redownload the game you purchased, as it would not be available for you to download in the Store

Just to update as its been a while, my games that are affected showing achievements in German.
