German player, Gears Collection Codes - Please find a solution for me.

Thread title says it all. I just want to request the codes for the Gears Collection. I pre-ordered and received the game BEFORE any news came out which exclude Germany and other countries for this promotion. It is officially not sold here - correct. But
still it is not against the law to buy, own and play the game here.

I bought the game only to receive these codes as I lost all my old Xbox 360 games and trusted the woldwide advertising which said that everyone who played the game until 31st of December while beeing connected to XBox Live will receive the codes. At this
time there was not a single mention of countries beeing excluded from this promotion and the reseller from which I bought just relayed this informattion to his customers, so it is not possible for me to get a refund as the game was bought on release. I bought
in Austria whose refund policy limits the time to get a refund to 7 days after receiving.

If you want any proof that I am older thant 18 years you can get a copy of my ID or anything else needed.

I don't like beeing patronized, which is not even done correctly, as I have the possibility to use the games if I had them and even stream my played game, which should already be blocked with a german IP as it is like advertising a indexed product.

Try to find a solution for me, please. Even if I have to send you my physical copy of the game and receive my paid money back, it would at least be a solution I could chose from, as for now I have like none but getting laughs from some of my Xbox One playing
friends, who are german as well, who did receive their codes without any problem here in germany.

I redeemed Gears of war 4 code in 11/30/2016 and played game both single and multi.

But I don`t get free gears of war collection code from gear of war 4 promotion until now

Please give me the free gears of war collection code quickly !!

If you have a German account then you don't quality for the gears of war ultimate collections fyi it was one of the regions gears of ear ultimate promotion and games.weren't available in

The codes won't work.in Germany certain ones anywsys because of the ip block

Importing a disk is always at your own risk when it comes to promotions

If you want to refund it you have to take it the store you bought it from.and it would be under their jurisdiction

 

The box itself says not available in all regions you should know legally that promotion s are at the risk of the you for importing disk from regions you don't live in

 

That's the risk you take when you buy disks from outside your region

You run the risk the codes won't work or promotions are not valid in the region you are in

And yes there are examples of codes not working like region locked content like gears and halo which require your account region to match your actual region

This is true for deluxe versions with seasons pass where the dlc is region locked

 

And I'm.sorry to say it's a legal restriction

Sorry to tell you that you are indeed wrong about the fact it would be stated under the fineprint. I could take you a shot of my austrian copy so that you can see for yourself that the promotional codes are not mentioned in any case. Of course, the Gears
of War 4 beta code is mentioned, but that is a different one from the Collection codes. To be honest I don't really care about the beta anyway.

Also the codes that are already sent to german users got confirmed to be activated without any IP blocking. Also is it possible to find the downloads in the Xbox One Market search on your Xbox One when you put your console on the region setting of germany.
Even this is kind of advertising a product that is indexed and against the law, but still you can find and download it from the german store if you put in your original Xbox360 disc.

They may get the codes by faking their region. But they fail at the Ip block which happen when they try and redeem.the code

Gears of war 3 and one are region. Locked and checks your geoip so faking your region won't work

 

You can bring the disk back.which falls under the Austria store rules but since you are trying something that is against your own laws you can't redeem for an offer that is not in your region

Again it is on you not ms or Austrian store that you imported and didn't read the rules

 

Seems like you did not read my first post at all. The codes got redeemed without any blocking and no VPN or anything. They don't even know what a VPN is - lol. And once again, our law does not prohibit us from receiving gifts nor to import it. And the promo
was changed at a later point as people already had their copies of the game. It is not the stores fault nor is it mine. I can't read rules which have not been made before.
