Genesis 2 not downloading - xbox game pass (PC)

Im having the same issue, I purchased the Genesis pass via the store and have it confirmed in my order details section in My account, I can download it on Xbox, but on PC it comes up with Buy as the only option. I already own this because its a Play Anywhere
purchase, the previous DLCs work on both my console and PC, but the Genesis Pass and Genesis Part 1 DLC download do not.

The DLC has been released already and they are working on some release issues, so can we please have some clarification on how to download Genesis on our PCs please

* edit, I just found out that there are 2 versions of the Genesis pass available, one is the desktop version and the other is console version, this is unfair making players buy 2 separate passes for a title that is supposedly available as a Play Anywhere
title. I know that the Microsoft representative reading this cannot change that directly, but can you please pass on this info from myself and many other gamers, the reason we love these Play Anywhere titles is because we can buy on one platform and use on
the other, this pass contradicts the Play Anywhere component of this game

Hey and thanks for the info, So to make sure. Ive got the game from microsoft store, its called the desktop version. Can i still play with my xbox friends via crossplay like before.

or do i need to buy it twice, 1x Xbox copy 1x Microsoft Copy just to be able to play cross play? (Super confused and ready to refund this and just move on now)

Thank you for contacting the Xbox support forums. Ark Genesis Part 2 is part of the Genesis season pass that you can purchase separately with Ark: Survival Evolved. At this time, the Ark: Survival Evolved Explorer's Edition which includes; the Survival Evolved Season Pass, Extinction, Aberration, Scorched Earth, and Survival Evolved Aberrant Skins is the current edition that is available on Game Pass.

Ark: Genesis Part 2 is part of the second expansion pack which is not currently available with Game Pass. However, Game Pass members may currently receive a discount on the ARK: Genesis Season Pass which would include Ark: Genesis Part 2.
