Gears Tactics Windows 10 - Install Corrupt Since 'Upgrade' to Gears Tactics Base Game -...

The subject line says it all really.

I downloaded Gears Tactics on release day for Windows 10 and binged for a while, before getting distracted by something else just as shiny.

To clarify, my system would run the game with ultra settings no problem, and my OS and software are always up to date.

So - I noticed an update some days ago. Same game, slightly different title. I figured it would just update itself as most other games do.

This evening I noticed that the start menu icon was greyed out (as per when a game is downloading an update), so I checked the store for any active updates and there were none. I restarted, and noticed the icon was a greyed out version of the original game
icon, not the new one. On visiting the store page for the game, I have an option to launch - but nothing happened when clicked. I check task manager - nothing. Try launching the game from the start menu - nothing. I tried repairing and resetting between restarts
to no avail, before finally uninstalling completely. Or so I thought - because the old game icon for Gears Tactics is still in my start menu under programs. I figured that downloading Gears Tactics - Base Game would rectify this, but apparently not.

Any help would be appreciated. I would like to play Gears Tactics (- Base Game) again at some point. I don't understand how a seemingly simple rebranding of a title could cause this issue.
