Gears of War Ultimate Edition Promotion

Hi there, I made a post earlier this week about not receiving my Gears of War 1,2,3 and Judgement codes from the promotion that you had last year.

“Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” Comes With Entire “Gears” Collection For Free - Xbox Wire

The support staff sent me codes to activate the Gears of War 1,2,3 and Judgement, however this is not the 'Ultimate Edition' as per your promo.

The varying difference is the 'ReMastered' version of the games. The original XBOX game codes provided to me for all the Gears of War was is not the 'Ultimate Edition'

Can someone please help me, I activated GOW 4 on Dec 30th and purchased the game from the Microsoft Store in November. Please help!

Haven't Received my Gears of War Tittles [Case Number: 1329779245]

I bought Gears of War Ultimate Edition during the promotion and havent received my titles. (Gears of War 1, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, Gears of War Ultimate Edition for Windows 10).

Are you referring to the promotion last year for the Gears of War Ultimate Edition or for the Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition?

Knowing this will help us investigate a bit more. Thanks!

 

You would have received the correct codes. The codes you receive are for the 360 versions of the games. There is not an ultimate edition or remastered version of those 4 games.

 

I believe you are mistaken. If you look at the link above, there is a difference between the Bundled Ultimate Edition and the individual GOW 1,2,3 Judgement. It even indicates on the XBox Website from that link as follows "In Gears of War: Ultimate Edition,
you’ll get the complete remastering of the original game – painstakingly reimagined from the ground up with stunning next-gen graphics,

IT's been reimagined not 'remastered' as I had mentioned but the graphics have been updated so there is quite a difference.

Please help if you can.

Gears of War:Ultimate Edition is a stand alone game. It is the remastered version of the first Gears of War game. It does not include the other 4 games. The other 4 games are the original 360 versions and were included in 2 different promotions. You would
receive codes for the 4 games if you either purchased and played Gears of War Ultimate by December 31, 2015 (the promotion you linked) or if you preordered Gears of War 4 (which would not include the Ultimate Edition).
