GEARS OF WAR UE PROMO (GoW Collection codes)

I received a reply on this forum today saying I did not qualify for the promotion to receive the gears of war collection. This is wrong and I had no way to reply to the thread so I am starting a new one here. I played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before
the 31st of December 2015. I was told I qualified multiple times by various Microsoft support staff and that I would just have to be patient and wait for my codes to arrive in my messages. I would really appreciate speaking to someone about this as I have
purchased a product and not received what I payed for. If the codes for Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgement are not sent to me I would like a refund on Gears of War: Ultimate Edition as I purchased the game under the assumption
that it came with the other games as long as the guidelines that I followed were completed.

Gears of War Collection Codes AWOL

I preordered Gears of War 4 on 9 October from the Microsoft Store, and have still not received any of the GoW Collection promo codes. My gamertag is the same I am posting from, '' [EU].

By the look of some of the other posts this is likely a familiar issue!

I bought gears of war 4 the 12th of October, and still haven't received promo codes for the gears collection.

That wasn't the only requirements

And no support has no say on promotions.nor.xan they tell if you qualify

Based on the info which is usually incomplete because they can't check certain things

If you live.in Japan Germany or china Or not above 17 you don't qualify and yes rhey codes.wonr work in those regions nor non xbox live countries

 

If you still have the link to the forum post you can check your private msgs to see which qualification you failed

Usually they will post 3 of the requirements and usually mention which one privately you failed

Changing the age on your ms account won't change the age of your account

You have to use the copa method with a valid government is if you are over 17

 

The region is a critical also your physical region is important because your location must.match your account region

I live in Australia I am 22 my account has the correct information on it and I played the game before the cut off date. When I spoke to staff on the phone earlier In the year they assured me my codes were on the way. If this was false information that is
not my problem. Microsoft has promised me a product and I have not received it.

Only from support you can get refunds which after oover8momths unlikely

I wasn't even sent here until last week. If Microsoft staff has given me misleading information it's not my problem that's what you're not getting. I don't care if they don't have authority to tell me what they did or if they do or do not have the correct
information in their department. All in all it is the same company and staff members from said company told me to wait for my codes and that I would receive them eventually. If I do not receive what I am entitled to I will be opening a case with consumer affairs
and the fair trade ombudsman. I've waited this long so far I don't mind taking it down that road and waiting a little longer.

 

The only people who have the authority is the support forums we can't do anything about misleading information that phone support tells you

You don't seem to.understand how support works

Support forum agents are corporate xbox agents from.microsoft with direct access to the promotions teams which would be down the hall from.them

Phone support is third party vendors not corporate ms
