Gears of War Judgement system link not working on Xbox One

I have many Xbox 360s and Xbox Ones with multiple copies of Gears of War Judgment. I can get all the Xbox 360s to system link the game together just fine. However, when I add an Xbox One console to the mix it cannot see the hosted
system link games that the Xbox 360 consoles can. I have tried hosting the game on both an Xbox 360 and Xbox One and neither can see each other. To further clarify what works and what doesn't here is a table:

Host : Client : Result

I'm doing

this all on a network hosted by ASUS router model #: RT-AC68U. In some cases it also jumps through a switch or two.

Additional Notes:

- I am able to get all this to work with Gears of War 1 & 2.

- Gears of War 3 shares the same exact sysmptoms as Gears of War Judgment. It would be cool if that got fixed too!

Microsoft, I hope you can find a fix. I love playing this game with a large group of friends over at my place for a good old LAN party.

If you're having issues with a Backward Compatible title on Xbox One, it's best to try the steps in our forums sticky

HERE to see if it helps. If it doesn't you'll want to fill out the Survey at the bottom of the post so the teams working on Backward Compatibility will be aware of the situation. Also to clarify, are you both using Xbox One console or Xbox One and Xbox
360? Are you able to play online as opposed to system link when connected to the same router?

It seems to be a known problem (at least for users) for a long time, if it has not been solved so far it could even be that it is not solvable at all.
Unfortunately during E3 2019 they announced that there will be no new backwards compatible games to focus on the development of the new Xbox Scarlett.
I believe that at the moment there are no people working on backwards compatibility, but this is just my guess.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We understand have issues when linking a Xbox 360 to an Xbox 0ne. When you set this up, have you had the Xbox 360 and Xbox one connected via an ethernet cable? Also on the Xbox one, is the game updated exactly
the same as the Xbox 360? The best thing I found would be to have all consoles connected via ethernet to your router for the system link. Here is a link for

system link on Xbox 360there isn't one for the Xbox one unfortunately.

Hi RedPlayer, I found an old conversation here on the xbox forum, a user had the same problem as you, and it seems like this is a somewhat known problem. Unfortunately, apparently there are problems with the system link with gear of war judgments and combinations
of consoles other than "2 xbox 360", same problem with Gears of War 3, while with the Gears of War 1 it works without problems.
