    I played gears of war ultimate edition right after it was released. I never received the codes for the backwards compatible games. I chatted with Xbox support.

    Killer Instinct

    Another thing I forgot to mention is I got Killer Instinct Classic. An emulated game of the old version from back in the days.

    This leaves me to believe that Microsoft can make Xbox 360 games work on Xbox One as backwards compatibility. At the moment there bringing all the cash in by remaking Halo 1-4 LOL and maybe who knows another few exclusive titles eg, Gears of War, Alan Wake remake etc. Then they might release this backwards compatibility.

    It will be backwards compatible to some extent. I mean it's safe to say that huge games such as Halo and Gears of War will be backwards compatible.

    Gears of war is a XboxOne-specific game, not a backward compatibility game, so only One's control is recognized.

    We just want to clarify. Which game are you missing from the Gears of War console bundle? Were you referring to the Gear of War Ultimate Edition Game itself, or the collection of Gears of War titles that are usable on Backward Compatibility.
