Gears of War Backwards Compatible Games Codes

I purchased the Gears of War 4 special edition 2tb console back in October and have yet to get the codes for the backwards compatible Gears of War games.

Gamertag is STNB

One thing I did notice is that despite redeeming the code to my xbox with the same gamertag and Microsoft Account it does not show up in the "My Games" section of the xbox website. could this be why I haven't received the codes?

Didn't receive Gears of War 360 codes

Pre-ordered Gears of War 4 but never received my codes for the backwards compatible 360 games.

Hey there STNB,

To qualify for this promotion, you just need to purchase and/or redeem Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by December 31, 2016. The game tokens for download will be sent in waves through Xbox Live in-dash message system within one month of redemption/purchase of
Gears of War 4. So the codes will appear, they just are being sent out in waves. If you're not seeing the codes after 30 days from when you first played, please create a new post and we'd be happy to take a closer look into this. You can find more information

The inability to see the game in "My Games" on the website wouldn't affect it in this case, as long as you're able to play the game on the console. Are you able to do that without any issues?

Hello you can use the 14 day trial and then add on the 3 month code once the trial has ended. It won't stack on the trial.

As for gears of war, as long as you play it before December 31st you will receive the other game code via XBL message free of charge. Here's a good link that explains it

Gears of War 2 is available now on the backwards compatability for xbox one, if you pre-ordered the Gears of War remaster for xbox one you should have received codes as a verification of this.

It will be backwards compatible to some extent. I mean it's safe to say that huge games such as Halo and Gears of War will be backwards compatible.
