    Gears of War backwards compatibility problem. I own GOW: UE but don't own the other games ...


    I bought Gears of war: Ultimate edition the day it came out and played it all that week. However I never received a download option for gears of war 1, 3, or judgement. Only gears of war 2. However I own gears of war 3 on disc so I just downloaded that.
    Only reason I realized this now is gears of war 4 is coming out soon and I wanted to play the old ones but noticed I didn't own them (except gears of war 2) on my xbox one. I contacted xbox customer support and was told to post here and i would receive special
    help.

    Backwards compatibility, my Xbox gold doesn't work

    My own account does not have an Xbox live subscription, but I have an other accounts home Xbox for that. No problems on Xbox one games, but when I try to play with friends via backwards compatibility games, it says I don't have gold.

    XBOX ONE NOTIFICATION ISSUE

    i dont even know what the xbox one update preview is lol! i have checked on this further and it seems as though the issue happens on gears of war 3 and 2. gow one *ultimate dition for the xbox one* has no issue so i think this is a backwards compatible problem,
    although i did try to invite people to oddworld new and tasty and it wouldnt allow that either. very strange that this is happening. all the other games that i have *admittedly i dont have many* dont seem to have this problem and i'm not blocked from using
    the gow games.

    Greetings WoW I Missed,

    I'm sorry to hear that you haven't received your Early Access beta code. According to forum posts on GearsofWar's website, there have been several complaints of missing beta codes and The Coalition is currently in the process of resolving this issue. Make
    sure you have played Gears of War: UE recently (within the past week or so).

    As far as the free backwards compatibility codes, Gears of War: UE had to have been purchased and played online by December 31, 2015. If you've done this and still received no tokens for the Gears of War games, I would recommend you contact the game developers.
    I hope all of your issues are taken care of quickly.
