Hey there shaggyhunts,

We're going to need some more details to help out. What happens when you try to redeem the codes? Are you seeing an error message and an error code?

Which region are you physically located in? Is your console's region also set to the same one? If there is a different between the region your console was set for or your account there can be issues with code redemption. Have you also tried to redeem the
codes on xbox.com HERE?

Im physically located in Australia, my xbox region is set to Australia and according to Microsoft support my account is australia to. But also according to them the codes that i have been sent are US codes. The error is " sorry, but an unexpected error has
occurred. The error code has been recorded and we will investigate. Please try to redeem code later.

I tried redeeming on xbox.com like Mister Mascot said and it worked! Redeemed the code and Gears 1 is currently installing on my Xbox one. Thanks man!

Gears of War 2 is available now on the backwards compatability for xbox one, if you pre-ordered the Gears of War remaster for xbox one you should have received codes as a verification of this.

Hello you can use the 14 day trial and then add on the 3 month code once the trial has ended. It won't stack on the trial.

As for gears of war, as long as you play it before December 31st you will receive the other game code via XBL message free of charge. Here's a good link that explains it

The codes are sent out in waves. They were scanning gamertags and sending out codes once a week. They also state that it will take a few weeks. So I would just wait. Here is ther FAQ,
