Gears of War 5 won't finish installation

I purchased the game pass ultimate and downloaded the game. The game says that it is installed in the play store and has the "play" button available. Once I open the game it says that the game hasn't finished installation. It allowed me to play the
"boot camp" and sent me to the main menu saying "Installation progress 35%". It has said this for hours, I mean hours and hours. What is going on?

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend to
uninstall and reinstall the game. have seen a few posts with this issue with Gears of war 5. Make sure your PC is completely up to date.

reinstalling the game could be the solution

Exodus Scalpel

A hard reset could help maybe.

Hold down the power button until the console shuts down.

Unplug the power brick for 5 min and plug it back in.

That might solve the problem

I only played gears of war 3 but i started recently started playing gears of war 4 havent finished yet.

Did i miss out on the older gears of war titles or am i prepared for gears of war 5 once i finished 4
