Gears of War 4's promotional Xbox 360 games collection codes do not work

Haven't received the code for the Xbox 360 gears of war collection with the purchase of GOW 4

How do I get the Xbox 360 gears of war collection limited time offer with the purchase of Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition?

For Christmas, I was given a 2TB Xbox One S Limited Edition Gears of War 4 Console, which came with a downloadable code for Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition. I redeemed code and downloaded the game. Once the game was downloaded I thought I would receive
a download code from Xbox to get the Xbox 360 Gears of war collection before it ends on the 31st of December 2016.

I don’t know what to do now XD

What error message/code do you receive when you try redeeming the codes? Does this happen with all of them or just 1 and 3?

It's the same thing for all the keys.

I have tried again on my Xbox One and Online and got the same results.

When i try and redeem them on my Xbox 360, it tells me that the codes are not valid.

Nothing about it not being for my region or anything like that

Just that it is not a valid key.

If you're account region doesn't match your actual region it would also report as invalid

It's ones of the main causes

Gears 2 and judgement isn't region locked but not triple a games like gears 1 and 3

For the best exp with xbox live you must match your account region to your actual region

I did not say i redeemed any codes and i haven't.

All four codes are still active.

I have managed to redeem one Gears of War 2 key (that i purchased a couple of weeks ago) on another account (UK region with me being in Romania) but this particular Gears 2 key is not working.

I also have a Gears of War disc i can use and play on both consoles using whatever account i can.

So are just the digital copies region locked? If so... what region are they?

On one account, i actually have Romania account region with me being in Romania (although neither console has this locale on their region settings).

This one was changed a month ago from UK account region to Romania region because i thought i had the problem you're talking about for 1 and 3.

 

Gears 1 and 3 are region locked. A lot of bigger named 360 titles were made region locked. Since you live in a region that is not support, those games are not available for download there which is what causes the issue.

 

Ok, then why do i have the option to buy a digital copy of each game, including Gears 1 and 3?

If i go to the store on my xbox one console, i have the option to buy the game.

So i can buy them from the xbox store but i cannot use a redeem code for them.

Also, when inserting the Gears 1 disc, it downloads the digital game on my xbox one as per the console's requirements.

Where does that download come from?

You can look at any game on the marketplace as long as you get a account region that iz supported

But since you don't live in an xbox live region you can't

 

If you use the physical disk you are only downloading the emulator patch

Ok so i found out the issue here and the "region" everyone is talking about.

These Gears promotional keys are only US region.
