Gears of War 4 server connection issue at the start of a new lobby

Every time I join a new lobby (every game on core mode) I get 2-3 minutes of teleporting and "ghost" activity...where I run around ineffectively shooting at people......sometimes I get stuck in one spot...but mainly I teleport around the map and my team
mates and opponents are "crabbing" around and "skating" etc I have several clips of this under my gamer tag.

There are 2 logos present at the bottom right of the screen...one is the wifi lag icon...and the other is a battery shape with a lightning bolt that I am told indicates a server problem.

I have not heard any other person describe this...but its really frustrating as this afternoon...in TDM...we were down to 3 remaining team members before I could play effectively on the first round.

Who do i need to contact to really help me with this? I thought the last title-update was going to solve it...but it did not.

Someone let me know what to do, or who to contact please.

Dedi or P2P and How to Tell.

I dont have Ghosts yet, but I saw a video by WingsofRedemption and he stated there is a way to tell if you are in a dedicated server lobby or a host/client/P2P lobby. He stated the countdown in a P2P lobby starts with 15 and that the countdown in a dedicated
server lobby starts with 50. I dunno if this is accurate or not, but its a start, LOL. Have you guys been in any 15 or 50 second/countdown timers at the beginning of a game in the lobby? Maybe this is good. I cant check until Christmas. Discuss.

What does it feel like to play on Dedicated Servers?

you wont see any difference - people just think they do as its what they are told by the internet. Generally a server connection is more stable, but its not always the case.

Peer 2 Peer connection is where you connect to another player who 'hosts' the lobby. (see: Call of Duty)

Dedicated server is everyone is peered to that server, so in connection terms, you are still at the mercy of distance, traffic etc

I only played gears of war 3 but i started recently started playing gears of war 4 havent finished yet.

Did i miss out on the older gears of war titles or am i prepared for gears of war 5 once i finished 4

HI Zaidens,

I did some research and found out that Horde mode in Gears of War 4 is not able to play while offline. You need an online connection if you are going to want to play Horde mode in either a private or public lobby. This has to do with server side protocols
that require you to be connected online to play.

You say you are connected to WIFI, but would you mind telling us why you want to play offline?

What is the error message you receive?

There is a current issue with the servers. I am not sure how much has been said about it but this has been an issue since release. At times the game works flawlessly and have others you cannot connect to servers and join Co-op. I believe this is on the gear
5 server end. Many friends, streamers and plenty of people on Twitter have been speaking about this. I believe we are waiting for a hotfix.
