Gears of War 4 promotions

I purchased the Gears of War 4 special edition console which advertised as including the Gears of War Collection.

I contacted Support the week of purchase when no Codes were provided and I could not download the games without purchasing. I was told to wait and I would receive the codes in a couple of weeks.

It is a month later, contacting support again and the told me to "Post it on our forum."

I want to be notified on why this is taking so long and what must be done to get the games that were promised. Or if there is a way to get reimbursed for the purchase or an extra promotion or coupon or something for the hassle of having to contact Support
twice with still no resolution.

not sure why you were contacting support twice when you were told to post in forums

One support had nothing to do with promotions

Only promotions forums agents do

When did you buy and download the game and activate the game the 11th if so then tommorrow is a month not.when you bought the console

Remember months are from this date to this date

On your secondary question you are going to have to contact phone support

Reimbursement is handled thru phone support but promotions are still handled thru forum support

Reasons support has powers for reimbursement but no access to the promotions team in ms Corp headquarters

Promo team does

Now here is a side but all important question could also be the reason for the delay

Is your account an adult account ? If not that would be why

To qualify your account must be 18 and over and no you cannot change the age of an xbox live account and adjusting the email nor the age of the ms account will work

Or do you live in China or japan if so then you don't qualify for the codes

The website you're linking to is actually for the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition promotion and not the actual promotion for Gears of War 4. You can find more info on that promotion

HERE. To clarify, only codes for the Backward Compatible titles are sent. There is no promotion that offers the Remastered Ultimate Edition currently.

If you purchase and redeem Gears of War 4 on Xbox One or Windows 10 between April 25, 2016, and December 31, 2016, or if you redeem a code for the game as part of a console bundle before December 31, 2016, you'll receive the following Xbox 360 backward-compatible

Gears of War: Judgment

*Gears of War 2 is not available in Germany.

These codes are only playable on Xbox 360 or Xbox One. They won't work on Windows 10."

Upon purchasing Gears of War 4 before December 31, 2016, the tokens for the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection for use on Xbox One will be sent by waves through Xbox Live in-dash message system on your console within one month of redemption. For more details

Hey there,

Thanks for linking the post! The Gears of War Ultimate Edition promotion was a promotion done back in 2015, before the Gears of War 4 pre-order promotion. While they are a little similar with the rewards, the two promotions are still different as the Ultimate
Edition promotion occurred well before Gears of War 4 was released. As I mentioned in the earlier reply, the Gears of War 4 console bundle included the codes inside the box.

For further information about the promotion you are posting in regards to, feel free to visit the

Gears of War 4 Pre-Order page.

"Physical copies of the game will come with codes for each of the four titles to download via Xbox Live. For those who purchase digitally, your codes will be sent via Xbox Live message – we’ll be sharing more information on digital distribution closer to
launch."
