    I pre-ordered gears of war 4 and was supposed to receive codes for the other gears of war games and I accidently deleted the message off my Xbox is there any way to retrieve those codes?

    I pre-ordered gears of war 4 and was supposed to get the older gears of war games and I received them in a message but I accidently erased the message before I wrote them down. Is there any way to retrieve that deleted message or have those codes recent

    Gears 5 campaign preview: The evolution you've been waiting for

    I only played gears of war 3 but i started recently started playing gears of war 4 havent finished yet.

    Did i miss out on the older gears of war titles or am i prepared for gears of war 5 once i finished 4
    You would obviously understand / know more if you played through all the game; however, 4 is the beginning of a new era in the Gears of War saga.

    Plus, I don't know if it's true yet, but I heard Gears 5 will have video recaps of the other games. No idea how long or how many videos they are, but they are supposed to be enough to get people up to speed if they have never played a Gears game before.

    Edit - Rod Fergusson said that, "[Gears 5] was designed for new players. I'd actually recommend you start with 5, then play 4 and then hit Gears 1 Ultimate Edition and then 2 and 3."
