    Gears of War 4 not detecting graphic card Nvidia GT540M


    Hi

    I have installed GOW4 in my pc, but the game does not run as it does not detect the graphic card Nvidia GT540M. I also have an integrated card in the laptop, HD graphics 3000, and when running the game a window appears saying i have 0GB VRAM when 2GB is
    recommended. Then the game stops.

    I have everything up to date (SO, drivers, etc..) and have also changed configuration in Nvidia control panel to use the Nvidia card for the game specifically, and also to use Nvidia for everything. Nothing worked.

    Any idea what's the problem?

    Error GW400 Gears of War 4 on Windows 10

    Hello,

    I have been trying to play gears of war 4 on PC windows 10, I have updated everything as it will not even let you download the game without the updates installed. Now when I go to launch the game I am getting this Error GW400 (i will post the full error
    at the bottom). I have directx 12 installed on my computer I have done dxdiag to confirm this. I also checked with nvidia and my graphics cards support directx 12.

    Error GW400 occurs when you try to launch Gears of War 4 on Windows 10

    You get the following error code when you try to launch Gears of War 4 on a Windows 10 device:

    This means that the graphics card in your Windows 10 device does not meet the minimum requirements. Your graphics card must support DirectX 12 (Feature Level 11).

    Solution
    Upgrade your system's graphic card to meet the minimum requirements for the game and try launching the game again.

    PC "freezes" after disconnecting/shutting off XBox One Controller (Win 10) + Wireless Adapter

    Are you using a nvidia graphic card? the only change that i did to my pc was updating the display driver and that s when i had the problem occur

    forgot to mention, i also tried to install other "Play Anywhere" game, just in case, and tried with ReCore, which run correctly using Nvidia GPU.

    Do you have a nVidia graphic card? Gears 4 have had several problems with this hardware and particular and seems it would never be fixed. If everything fails I'm afraid you will have to reinstall the game once more.

    I have the same graphics card, and have been enjoying Gears of War 4, so you should be able to.

    Firstly, you need to make sure you're running the latest build of Windows 10 (Anniversary Update). For details on how to do that,

    read this blog post    .

    You'll then also want to ensure your graphics card driver is up-to-date. So either download them manually, or open NVIDIA GeForce Experience and download/install them. Reboot your system after this.

    Finally, you'll need to open Windows Store and download/install the latest update for Gears of War 4. This should be approximately 300-400mb in size, though it did take a while for mine to actually install; just bare with it.

    You should then be good to go!

    Hi,

    The 'GT' line of NVIDIA graphics processors lack NVIDIA NVENC support.

    Without NVENC it's not possible to record gameplay in Windows Gamebar or NVIDIA's
    own 'Shadowplay' application.

    Recording on NVIDIA graphics cards is limited to the GTX and RTX hardware.
