    Gears of war 3 Server Issue


    So I'm having a problem changing my party options via Gears of war 3 to get online to play with other people. I'm on the Xbox one playing GOW3 via download that I got from Microsoft for getting the Ultimate Edition. It has the "joinable public" and "invite
    only" options greyed out and says "Your current gamer profile settings do not allow playing online games. To continue, all players must have settings that allow online play."



    But I have Xbox Live and can play Gears Ultimate Online and other games too just fine. I can't be banned because I have played with this gamertag on my Xbox 360 before when I had Gears 3 for it and I know I haven't done anything illegal. I've talked with Microsoft
    Support and have done everything with them and even they are stumped. Currently, it only gives me the local and system link options, but when I use my brothers profile it will let him change to the "joinable public" options and everything else. I've been
    posting all of the Gears of War Official Forums for the past 2 weeks and haven't got any help from them. This is my last hope in finding help. I've done everything troubleshooting related to my Xbox One so I know this has to be a server issue.



    I've reinstalled the game, and even re-installed my profile on my Xbox one, and nothing is working. Does anyone know how to get into contact with publishers or Admins?

    Gears of War Ultimate Edition Xbox One

    Only Gears of War 3 was supposed to run on dedicated servers.
    Maybe Judgment, but not the first two.
    I remember the first game kicking you when the host left.

    According to the company that is now responsible for gears, Ultimate Edition suppose to be running on dedicated servers, and I feel it is not the case as only 1 player does the killing and rest suffer so to me that is not the sign of dedicated servers. I don't even think players from same region get selected which is another sign of dodgy servers. I feel we need fastest broadband like 1gb/second to play this game, 20mbs is not good enough IMHO.
    There is new Gears on the way and in all honesty I just hope they get best possible servers for newer game.

    To take a deeper look into this, can you share your detailed network statistics on the console? NAT type may be affecting your ability to play multiplayer. Keep us in the loop Gears of war 3 Server Issue :)

    Dedicated Servers are in Gears of War 3 but you had to buy DLC for it.
