    Hi,

    I purchased an Xbox one X Gears of war package which has all 5 gears of war games (1 to 5). When playing Gears 2 in Coop mode, the game freezes at the same point in the game I get a loud buzzing as if it's crashed. I can restart the game and it happens straight
    away when it tries to load the last saved point in the chapter. I've removed the game completely and downloaded it again on advice from Xbox support. But it happens again when it tries to load the saved progess. All other games work flawlessly in Coop mode.
    However, If I play the game on my own it sails through that point where it hangs/crashes with no issue so this is only a coop issue? My controller automatically logs in when booting the xbox. My daughters controller (official) must log in every time (As tad
    annoying but I understand only one controller can be automatically logged in).

    Has anyone come across this before?

    Sorry to hear it. Try deleting then redownloading each gamertag to see if that helps. If it doesn't then head into your System Settings and do a factory reset Settings>System>Console Info>Reset

    You could also try deleting and redownloading your gamertags from the backwards compatiblity menu of the console by following the directions in this video

    It's odd. I can play the game in solo mode with either controller, but as soon as I play in coop mode it crashes.. It's only Gears 2 though. 3 & 4 are fine.
