Gears of War 2 achievements disappeared/missing!!!

Last night xbox live was down. This morning xbox live was back up again. However when i started Gears of War 2 i noticed that most of the multiplayer/online achievements i have earned in the last 2-3 months have been erased including my ranking which is
now back to 1 for 45+..... Weird thing is the only achievements that are missing are online/multiplayer achievements not offline achievements.

To give u an example..gears 2 has a sub-game called horde...one of the achievements has a goal is to complete 50 chapters of a particular level and lets say your required to play on insane mode...if i had logged in 48 chapters of this level for this achievement completed
last night..this morning i have 0 completed and if i play that same level in the same way for the same goal the game starts me from 0 or level 1.

The achievements i am missing for GEARS OF WAR 2 are...

1- Ranking that was at 45 or 46 (now down o 1)

PLEASE HELP! I have spent over 30-40 hours earning these achievements and they are gone!

Lost Achievements

Hi,

I was browsing xbox.com when I realized that some of my games achievements disappeared. Also my Games Score has been altered: it was 65000+ now it's about 60000.

I identified a few games disappeared from my achievements game list so far: Mass Effect 3, Gears of War 2, Forza Motorsport 4.

Does anyone know what this could mean?

 

Xbox.com missing unobtained achievements

it's happened to me on gears of war 3 ,2 achievements are missing at least 1 was the hoarder and the other was rat pack before i got it ,i check my achievements here now

XBOX live is has a service alert issued at the moment and will be back up and running soon.Have had a problem staying signed on this morning and could not even get on last night.Afterwards you should be alright and everything will register you just need
to give then a little time to get it working again.
