Gears 5 wont download

Hello, I have recently signed up using on Xbox PC and bought the game pass.
The app had some issues in the beginning but now they are fixed. Today when I was playing gears 5 an update dropped and it logged me out of the game. However, the game wont updated and its stuck at 0% /0MBS and just shows downloading. Its horrible and
irritating. Can someone please help?

The game just wont update even if I try to unistall it wont.. Other games download fine

So sorry to hear you are having problems updating your Xbox game.

May I ask if you have tried power cycling your PC?

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the Console/PC for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power
cord from the back of the PC/console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart.

This should keep the cache clear as well which makes it run more smoothly. This should work, if a power cycle fixes the problem.

i own gears 4, and most of the games i have tried to launch, i can play gta v which was gifted to me, but alot of the games i own or downloaded that were games with gold, wont launch, i did try that offline option with no success, i downloaded gears 5 when it was free last month but i didn't know game pass over rights licences D:
