    Gears 5 unable to log in to Xbox Profile on Steam


    I played the game after I bought it no problem, got up to chapter 2 act 1. I took a break and decided to change my gamertag, since I had the same one since I was a kid and just wanted to change things up.

    Changed my tag and could no longer log in to play the game. Tried launching from companion app, uninstalling/reinstalling, uninstall/reinstall companion app, log in and out of the Xbox website and companion, and a couple other fixes I was trying to read
    up on.

    Nothing works, and I can't refund the thing on Steam since I played over two hours. I'm stuck with this thing and any help or insight is appreciated, thanks.

    Remove your Xbox profile from steam and re add it.
