Gears 5 redirect to Games Services page in Microsoft Store

This game was working fine until 15 July 2020 when I updated it (update size is about 10GB) and I updated all apps and extensions in Microsoft store like Games Services.

After update it's open games services page in Microsoft store!

I have latest windows 10 update,

All apps in Microsoft store updated and my NVIDIA GTX driver updated from official nVidia site,

I tried to reinstall games services and uninstall other windows language pack but no luck.

Gears 5 installed and updated in Microsoft store but when I press play button it redirect to Games Services page in Microsoft store even GamesServices process already running in background "two processes".

*This game installed in another SSD partition and I it was working fine since I purchased it till this update.

How to fix this?

I uninstall this game from "Apps" in windows settings

and install it again from windows store

It's working now

I believe I have found a solution that works! After scouring the internet I found someone who recommended I do this and it worked!

Open Registry Editor

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services

Remove the GamingServices and GamingServices.Net

Restart Computer

Go to your Windows Store -> 3-dot-menu -> Downloads and Updates -> Check updates

After doing that it worked!

Issue not solved, still being redirected to the Gaming Services app in the Microsoft Store.

I understand you need assistance with Gears 5. As per checking, Gears 5 is only available in Game Pass Ultimate, the only version of the game that is included with Game Pass for console or the regular one is Gears 5 Game of the Year Edition.

When you check Gears 5 on the Store page; https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/Gears-5/..., you will see there that it says "Included with Ultimate" while Gears 5 Game of the Year Edition says "Included with Game Pass".
