    Gears 5 on pc is broken


    I have a gtx 1080 16gb if ram i7-7700 cpu at 3.6ghz I yet I can run gears 5 the game opens just fine cut scenes play just fine me just sitting not move with all setting the lowest they can go I'm at 200 fps looking around just fine but once I start moving
    instantly I go to 0 fps.

    If you have tried the normal troubleshooting steps (deleting and downloading the game again etc) just report this issue through the xbox app.

    Hi,

    Sorry about your problem there. I assume all your other games work okay including games that are not from the Windows Store, such as Steam, Origin etc?

    From the information I've read on the web this seems to be an Nvidia issue, which affects the GTX 1000X cards such as the GTX 1080, 1070. I haven't experienced this myself as I'm running an RTX 2080.

    I've not seen any guaranteed fixes, but I would suggest downgrading your graphics driver. The safest and least problematic way to do this is via a free PC application called

    DDU     (Display Driver Uninstaller). Use DDU to remove your driver and try a lower version of Nvidia's drivers.

    Other than that I'm not sure what the issue is. Perhaps you could try the
    Nvidia forums    .

    0x80004005 ("We can't sign you in to Xbox Live") error affecting one individual PC game. No issues on other games, or the Xbox.

    Can you fix your store, can’t even install gears 5 after deleting because nobody answered my question, stores broken, when I got on the game, it gave me error code 80004005, so can you atleast give people some help. Edit- I’m gonna reset my pc AGAIN to see if that fixes it. Thanks for the help..
